Community Supper and Flute Concert on December 11

You are cordially invited to Mason’s Community Supper on Thursday, December 11  and a concert with Two Flutes, Two Friends.  A delicious ham and bean supper will be served from 5:30 until 7:00 in the Church hall, followed by a delightful concert in the Church sanctuary at 7:10.  The free concert is a generous gift from long-time resident Ann Moser. Preceding the meal, you could shop at Mason School’s Holiday Gift Sale!  Bring your family, neighbors and friends for an evening in greater downtown Mason!
 
Assistance for a few minutes with clean up at the end of the evening is always appreciated.

Two Flutes, Two Friends
This ensemble has played at Greeley Park in Nashua, Lawrence Library in Pepperell, Nashua Charter School for the Arts, Nashua Community Music School and more. Both performers are season professionals. Their eclectic concerts feature music by Gary Schocker, Devienne, Gershwin, Miller, Mozart and the most famous, Anonymous. Historical backgrounds of the works are offered whenever possible and some works include harmony flutes such as alto and bass.
Rebecca Jeffreys holds a B.M. and an M.M. in music. She has taught and performed for over 30 years. Some career highlights include performances at the White House, Kennedy Center and the Vatican. Marjorie Bollinger Hogan holds a B.M. and M.M. in music. She holds the principal flute position with the Merrimac Valley Philharmonic  and the Nashua Chamber Orchestra and is the director of the Merrimac Valley Flute Choir. She teaches lessons at her home studio.
