Celebrate Summer on Thursday, June 12 with hamburgers, hot dogs and veggie burgers grilled by Mason’s fire fighters! Fresh veggies, chips and pickles made from Meghan’s grandmother’s secret recipe, watermelon and homemade desserts complete the menu. Join friends at the Congregational Church in the center of town from 5:30 until 7:00 PM.
Many thanks to the Mason Fire Department and EMS squad for providing delicious food and volunteers to work the supper. Supper is free, and all are welcome.
Mark your calendar for Thursday, July 10 for a Community Supper of summer salads — chicken, pasta with lots of veggies and shrimp — served on beds of greens. Dee Mitchell’s famous lemon blueberry bread made with Mason blueberries will round out the main course. Yes, there will be fruit and yummy desserts baked by generous volunteers. Volunteers from 9 to 90 make the suppers happen!
Following July’s supper, a concert in the gazebo on the Common will be held. Bring bug spray, blanket or chair to enjoy music sponsored by the Recreation Committee.
Mark your calendar for Thursday, August 14 for another Community Supper and concert! Menu and music to be announced later.
