The Old Home Day and Gazebo dedication went very well in Mason this year on Sept. 9, 2012! The church did great with their sale and the Wolf Rockers with their Chicken Bar B Q. Thank you to everyone who participated in the activities and Silent Auction. We all enjoyed the cooler weather and music performed in our new Gazebo, and seeing our good friends out and about! The children and adults had a good turn out for the Uncle Sam race. (pics) The winner of the 2 mile race was Emily Messer, crossing the finish line. Jonathan Arsenault was the winner of the 1/4 mile Fun Run, crossing the finish line with little brother cheering him on. Lastly, the kids were in full laughter while enjoying the sack race! We would like to let you know that we still have alot of memorable “Old Home Day” T- shirts for sale. We would like to sell them at the Town Hall during elections. Please see Barbara Devore or Jeannine Phalon if you are interested in purchasing one. The Mason Recreational Committee would like to thank all the vendors and musicians for all their wonderful talent and creativity. It’s what makes a small New England town blossom, when we can get together for Old Home Day!
