News from the Mason Public Library The Summer Reading Pro gram: Dream Big READ!

Wednesday mornings in July are full of fun activities, projects and stories. Reading everday encourages readers for life.

The Library has a selection of books for Grades 6-8 Summer Reading for middle school. Students are encouraged to read their books as soon as possible so that others may borrow the books before the beginning of school.

Come in and see what has been done in the Childrens’ Room. Check a Childrens’ Literacy Foundation (CliF) donated book or audio book. The funds for the project were gifts of the Hauben Foundation of Littleton, MA. We were able to get over 100 titles for the children.

Story Time will begin Wednesday September 12 at 10:30am in the Chidrens’ Room. Story Time will continue through Wednesday, November 14. No pre-registration is necessary. Join us for stories, songs and a simple craft.

The Noon Book Group will be meeting on Tuesday September 18 from Noon to 1pm in the Common Room of the Mann House. The group will be discussing “Before I Go to Sleep” by Steven J. Watson. The main character, Christine Lucas suffers from amnesia resulting from a mysterious accident and begins to wonder if her husband is telling the truth.
